The French-Australian Excellence Awards return in 2025 for their fifth edition, once again celebrating the outstanding contributions of individuals and organisations that strengthen the ties between France and Australia and enrich Australian society.

Organised by Le Courrier Australien under the patronage of the Embassy of France in Australia, and supported by Team France partners (Alliance Française Sydney, Business France, CCEF, FACCI, La French Tech Australia), this prestigious event continues to highlight the depth of collaboration and friendship between the French and Australian communities.

Nominations Now Open

The nomination process for the 2025 Awards is officially open. Members of the community are invited to propose individuals or organisations—French or Australian—who have had a significant impact in Australia or have strengthened Franco-Australian relations.

• Deadline for nominations: September 14, 2025 (midnight AEST)
• Who can nominate: Any member of the community
• Eligibility: French and/or Australian citizens residing in Australia
• Selection process: Finalists chosen through a combination of public votes and jury deliberation
• Winners announced: November 25, 2025, at the official Awards Ceremony
